The format
One person, one conversation, nobody watching. Rabbit opens a private video call with a single match and keeps it that way.
Matching is live
One match
A 1-on-1 video call is a small thing that changes everything about the conversation. There is nobody else in the call, so there is nobody to play to — you are talking to one person, and she is talking to you.
A call is created for exactly two participants and cannot be joined by a third.
No viewer count, no spectators, no scrolling comments running past her face.
End a call and it is done. The next 1v1 video chat starts clean.
Private vs public
Most "video chat" on the internet is really broadcasting: one person on camera, everybody else typing. It works as entertainment and it is hopeless as a conversation, because nothing said in a room of strangers is said to anybody in particular.
A private video chat inverts that. Both people are on camera, both are talking, and the only audience is each other. It is a smaller thing than a live room — and a far better one if you actually want to talk to somebody.
How it runs
The browser asks for the camera and microphone. Allow once and you are ready.
Matching finds one person who is online and opens a private call with her.
Stay in the conversation, or end it and be paired with somebody new.
Who you meet
The women you are matched with take these calls one at a time as well — the format is the same on both sides of the screen. If it is the people rather than the format you came for, that is its own page: video call with women online.
Either way the mechanics do not change: one match, one private call, and a new one whenever you want it.
Questions
A call between exactly two people. On Rabbit there is no room to join and no audience — the conversation exists only between you and the person you matched with.
A public room has spectators and a shared chat feed, so everybody is performing a little. A one-to-one call has neither, which is why the conversation tends to be a real one.
No. A call is created for two participants and stays that way for its whole length.
Rabbit does not hand you a recording of a call, and recording another person without consent is against the community guidelines and grounds for a ban.
Tap start, allow the camera and microphone, and matching opens a private call with someone who is online. Ending it starts a fresh one.
